Khira Wieting is a twenty-five year old artist based in Toronto, Canada. She is a graduate from the Theatre and Drama studies Bachelor program at the University of Toronto and Sheridan College. In addition to painting, she has been on several stages in both Toronto and Kingston, and in front of a few TV cameras as an actor. She grew up in both Salem, Massachusetts (USA) and Kingston, Ontario. In Kingston, she attended the L.E.A.P program from grades seven to ten, and then went on to the Theatre Complete focus program for grades eleven and twelve. Her painting, "Vision of Venice" was created during the early months of the pandemic. She has a special fondness for Italy, and remembers it well from her travel experience when she was in highschool. As well as acrylics, Khira paints in watercolours, and draws with ink and colour pencils. She is currently attending the Graphic Design and Interactive Media program at the Toronto Film School.
